Tand has white spot or some other disease?

I recently put a tand into my tank with my oscar. The oscar pushed it round a little but didn't do any visible damage. Now the tand is covered in white slime and has some concentrated in a particular area. It appears to be very unwell and is swimming vertically. The oscar has had similar symptoms before but they didn't persist. Any ideas?
