Can i sue for damages?

I just had my transmission fixed because it wouldnt shift into overdrive...when i got my car back it broke down within 10 miles from the shop...now the motor is knocking in the top engine...when i left my car to be fixed...it was running perfect except for not shifting into overdrive...when i left the car it was running great...now its ruined...
