I left Dubai in 2000 with debt. Can I re-enter without getting detained?

The thing is, I left Dubai because a UAE company I was working for didn't pay either myself or 22 other staff for 3 months in a row. Can I add that I am a British National with a 1st honours degree. Noone can survive with that amount of unpaid salary. This was in 2000 and now i want to return, but have a new (married) name and subsequently a new (nationality) pport. My brother now works and lives there and very much contributes to the community. Can I return without getting detained?
