Cat box and pregnancy?

I was tested for toxoplasmosis immunity when I was pregnant with my daughter, and was very surprised to discover that I'd never been exposed to it in 39 years of living with numerous cats. I scooped out my cats' litter boxes every day, and washed my hands well after. I use clumping litter, so I did not dump out the litter and wash the boxes every day. I was more concerned about handling/eating raw or undercooked meat than I was about the litter boxes.
