Link to files in hard drive?

You can create a shortcut to the designated folder that contains the file on the desktop. Alternatively, you can use ObjectDock and create a menu which is capable of displaying the hierarchy of the drive (folders and files, sort of like the Start Menu). I have done this on one of my computers. I really enjoy the ObjectDock program.
