I'm in love...but with the wrong thing?

Okk so about a week ago, i was taking out the trash and i lifted the lid to the garbage can and there was a dead racoon. so i put back on the lid and ran inside to my dad. He told me to be a man and take it out the woods and get rid of it. when i looked into it's eyes, I realized I got these erflies I haven't ever got before. I looked up what love feels like on the Internet and it showed that I was in love with this raccoon. What can I do about my feelings!?! I can't throw it away. I want to have an exorcism so I can bring my baby back to life. Help?
