What color should I paint my walls?

Ok, so I've been debating over several weeks on what color I should paint my living room walls. I guess, I should have painted first then bought furniture, but you live and learn. Here's my dilemma. I have dark brown furniture, dark gray (granite colored) leather sofas, and a red brick fireplace. All the colors that I've thought of this far, run into a snag with either the red brick fireplace or the granite colored sofa. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
