Can you sue a local DA for wrongly closing a criminal case?

The DA - or - Prosecutor - is immune from liability - except where there is misconduct or gross negligence in office. I would take with an attorney - about filing a Writ of Mandamus to compel the DA to perform the functions of his job. I bet - that will get him off his/her lazy !
