How to get my tan back?

It's spring now and over the winter I lost my tan I had gotten when I went to Brazil over the summer(so yeah it was pretty dark). I don't think fake tans give me good results so that's not an option. It's still a bit chilly where I am so going outside will be tough. I do wear makeup to help. Any thoughts or ideas?
